What is Poetry?

Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language—such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning. (you can find complete details from here)

In my words, Poetry allows you to express your thought beautifully in rhythmic form and it also helps you to change your vision which a normal person can’t see or feel.

Poetry आपके किसी भी चीज़ को देखने और उसे समझने का नज़रिया बदल देती है यही नहीं अगर आप एक positive person है तो यह आपको हर एक बुरी से बुरी स्थिति में भी कुछ अच्छा Positive Result दे कर जाती है

What is the meaning of 8 in Po8try:

• 8 is a beautiful number; when you lay it down it becomes symbol of ‘infinity’ so when it comes to the creativity, spread your thoughts as much as you can (Sky is the limit)
• Number 8 is also the symbol of harmony and balance.

Color: White Background & Black text is a universal pattern of the web while the dot represents your current mood, which can be changed according to you. Presently we’re using a red color which symbolizes fire, enthusiasm/energy through which you add fuel using your words & also the dot on alphabet ‘e’ helps to completes the shape of number ‘8’.

Slogan: ‘Expression thru words’:

Writing poetry itself is an art where you express your thoughts with the help of words. In short, we can also say it’s an ‘Expression thru words’.

आजकल भागदौड़ भरी ज़िन्दगी में अगर आप को कुछ भी ऐसा माध्यम मिल जाये जिसकी मदद से आप अपने को तनाव से दूर रख सके तो फिर क्या कहना ही क्या….

सब का अपना अपना तरीका होता है इस टेंशन से बचने का… कोई Sports से, कोई Music से, कोई Singing से तो कोई Reading से.. हर कोई किसी न किसी Activity से खुद को जोड़े रखना चाहता है और यही वजह है की मैंने भी लिखने को अपनी फेवरिट हॉबी बनाया |

यह आपको हमेशा एक अच्छी सोच देती है जिससे आप अपने कीमती समय का सही ढंग से सदुपयोग कर सकते है, मुझे poetry लिखते हुए करीब २० साल से भी ज्यादा वक़्त हो गया है लेकिन आज भी सीख रहा हूँ क्यूंकि यही सीख एक नयी सोच को जन्म देती है और आपके विचारों को एक मज़बूत आधार भी

मैंने इस वेबसाइट पर अपनी उम्र की हर एक उन कविताओं को डाला है जो उस समय की मेरी सोच को दर्शाती है आज जब भी मै इन्हें पढता हूँ तो लगता है “ये शब्द गलत है ! इसे यहाँ से बदलना चाहिए !” लेकिन सही मायनों में यदि मै इनको बदलता हूँ तो शायद मै अपनी उस उम्र की सोच को बदलने की कोशिश करूँगा जो कि आज से कही अलग थी और यक़ीनन यह करना बिलकुल गलत होगा इसीलिए इन्हें बिना छेड़े, बिना कोई सुधार की कोशिश किये मै इन्हें आप सभी के समक्ष रख रहा हूँ इस उम्मीद के साथ कि शायद मेरा यह poetry collection आपके थोड़े से खाली समय मेँ आपको कुछ अच्छी पुरानी यादें दे जाये और आपको इस तनाव भरी ज़िन्दगी से दूर एक सुकून भरा समय गुजारने मेँ मदद करे |
